We might be biased, but we think you’ll love rugby. You don’t get many opportunities after high school and college to test yourself physically and mentally in a competitive team sport. when is the season?
The Vulcans play year round with three primary seasons: a spring 15’s season, a summer 7’s season, and a fall 15’s season. While there are breaks between each season there are lots of opportunities to play all year
when is PRACTICE?
Date: The Vulcans practice year round with only small breaks between seasons.

do i need experience?
We have players with many years of experienced down to players who are brand new to the game. Do not be intimidated by not knowing the game! There is a place for everyone and we work hard to provide a welcoming environment to get you up to speed quickly and safely.
Do I need any special equipment to start?
Rugby requires very minimal equipment especially to get started. While there is optional specialist equipment you can get into, you only need athletic shorts and cleats to start. Just bring a good attitude, gym shorts, and ideally cleats and you will be fine.
can i just practice or support?
Absolutely! We have players who just want to get a run in and be a part of the team, but playing isn’t something they can commit to. And we have people who are just social members of the club as well. All are welcome and appreciated.
SHOULD I JUST SHOW UP?
Plenty of people just show up to practice and watch to see if it might be for them. But please also feel free to reach out to us to setup a time and practice as well so we can make sure to greet you and show you around.
